About Me

I have been passionate about sewing from a young age – and have sewn my own clothes since I was a teenager. Several years ago, I had a handmade children's clothing business called "Cool Magool". I have completed a Bachelor of Visual Communication and worked as a graphic designer. In recent years whilst living overseas in Germany I took the opportunity to gain professional sewing experience through volunteer roles as well as undertaking training with a private fashion designer. Since returning to Sydney in 2018, I have completed formal training studying a Diploma course in Fashion Design and Garment Construction.
I am currently working as a tailor in my own small business, "Tailormade by Toni", which was established in 2019. I sew custom made garments for clients, including pattern drafting and garment construction. I also undertake extensive sewing machinist work for the bridal industry and university student projects. The range of garments I can make is broad and includes tailored jackets, evening wear and active wear.
